HISTORIC FRAMINGHAM HOUSES

This series of limited edition notecards are reproduced from a group of watercolors painted by artist William Chignalo. These cards are available individually or in packets of four.

The back of the card reads:

“Pike/ Haven/ Foster House
Built 1693

Jeremiah Pike built the house near Framingham Centre. It was occupied by the Pike family for eight generations, and added onto in at least five stages. Jeremiah Pike was one of Framingham’s first Selectmen. He and his descendants were Town and Militia officers, Yeomen and makers of spinning wheels. To house the owners’ harpsichords, an addition was built in the 1950s or early 1960s.”
